Conditions We Treat

Pain somewhere between your hip and foot?

Whether the pain started after an injury or has gradually built up over time, start with the area that feels most like your problem.

You do not need to know the diagnosis before booking. We assess the painful area, how it moves and loads, and what is limiting walking, work, running or sport.

Recent injury
Twists, falls, impact or sport
Gradual onset
Pain building with work or activity
Persistent pain
Symptoms that keep returning
Whole Lower Limb

The pain may be local. Movement is not.

Walking, running, stairs and sport require the hip, knee, ankle and foot to share load. When relevant, we look above and below the painful area rather than treating one structure in isolation.

01

Hip

Hip strength and pelvic control can influence how the whole leg moves during walking, stairs and running.

02

Knee

The knee needs enough strength and control to tolerate load from both the hip above and the ankle below.

03

Ankle

Ankle mobility, calf capacity and balance affect walking, running, landing and change of direction.

04

Foot

Foot loading and footwear affect how force is managed and transferred through the rest of the lower limb.
